Living in Manly, NSW

Living in Manly is absolutely a good lifestyle. You get the Corso, you get the Wharf and you get the beach all in some short of distance walk.

Manly is really popular in summer, it looks like the perfect spot to hit for shopping/dining/entertainment. It has a gorgeous beach where to practise water activities, surfing in particular and some diving at Shelly Beach. It has a wonderful boardwalk all along the beach from Shelly Beach until Queenscliff, the next beach going north, while it has reserves and national park closed to the wharf on the other side.
The Corso and Pittwater Road are the places for shopping, nice cosy shops, few fancy shops and more surfer style shops are everywhere. On Pittwater Road is easy to get fascinated by the boards' shops and surf-funky style clothes shops and easy to lose yourself in a nice cafè and is a bit more quite than the Corso.

Along the esplanade, north steyne or the wharf you'll find nice dining restaurants that light up in the evening for a romantic night or a friends catch up evening :)

It's a lovely place during winter time too. When the sun shines is always good to have a nice walk along the beach, surfers are always out in action in the ocean, no matter if it rains, it's sunny or cold, people are active and sporty every time of the day, from dawn to dusk and that is what made a place more enjoyable.

Manly is at 30 minutes from the city CBD with a $7.40 ferry ride, so there is always possibility to reach the city easily and quickly as well. The fact that is surrounding by water and nature is a plus for Manly and it enables to forget you're living in Sydney.

Wonderful walks could be taken from Manly to North Head or from Manly to the Spit Bridge, enjoying the day out and the views that some lookouts offer is a must!
