Relaxing Adelaide city, SA

If you know Adelaide and think about it, what pops in your mind is green and nature, excellent food and wines with elegant restaurants, wide and spacious boulevards with shops and heritage buildings.
Adelaide has a relaxed lifestyle and sits 20 minutes from the beaches and/or from the hills, plus is a very green city, because it contains 29 parks, each which unique characters.
The first colonists arrived here in 1836 and started to build in stone, leaving beautiful architectural heritage that is preserved and maintained.

Adelaide hosts some different cultural event year around: the Adelaide Festival held in March, WOMADelaide, Adelaide Fringe, Feast Festival, Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Adelaide Festival Of Ideas. Culturally speaking, it has a lot to offer and it's home to a beautiful museum with aboriginal heritage and history, The South Australian Museum that includes the Australian Aboriginal Cultures Gallery.

There are also numerous sporting events, including Santos Tour Down Under, national cricket games, International Rugby Sevens and World Tennis Challenge all around the year.

Being the heart of SA's wine industry Adelaide holds the National Wine Centre, situated close to the Botanic Garden, that offers wine-tasting and exhibits of wine making. 
The Adelaide Central Market, between Gouger and Grote Street, is another star of the city: it is the biggest undercover produce market in the Southern Hemisphere and has been trading since 1869, it will delight you with fresh fruits and veggies, plus fresh meat, fish and different tastes.
No wonder that Adelaide has excellent dining, casual cafè and great pubs: it has a perfect climate with Mediterranean and Asian influences and has wine regions just 20minutes drive from the city: McLaren Valley, Clare Valley and Barossa Valley are all around Adelaide and rich in wine tasting and grapes fields.

Different from the other great cities, Adelaide is more like a big country and life is easy and quiet: it has almost a country-stile but it doesn't miss elegance and charm.
The city is never overcrowded and people are opened and friendly.

Berlín, ciudad sorprendente

Siempre he eschucado decir: "Berlín es una ciudad bonita, me ha gustado mucho, me ha sorprendido" y al mismo tiempo "Berlín no me ha gustado nada, es una ciudad grande pero nada mas.  Ya se sabe que una ciudad puede gustar mas o menos, que una ciudad puede ser como cualquier otra y que depende mucho del gusto personal o de las experiencias vividas en el sitio. Mi viaje ha sido en pareja esta vez, siempre un viaje mochilero y con budget contado. No nos hemos permitido todos los lujos de una grande ciudad internacional y tampoco hemos entrado y visitado todos los museos históricos y/o artísticos de Berlín. Mejor dicho no hemos ni visitado Isla de los Museos  sin embargo hay que decir que Berlín es una sorpresa en cada esquina. Hay museos, por ejemplo gratuitos, como Futurium: un museo sobre la tecnología, innovación y futuro de la especie humana y del mundo, en pleno centro de la ciudad. Viena siempre Viena...siguientes pasos!

Si no has leído Viena siempre Viena, te recomiendo que salga de este articulo y empieces por ahí, porque este articulo va a hablar de las atracciones vista después. Os había dejado en la Catedral de S. Esteban en el Innere Stadt. En el centro de la ciudad, hay una multitud de cosas que ver o hacer: seguir visitando sitios, museos, restaurantes, bares y pub, tiendas en las muchas calles peatonales que departen de la plaza de la Catedral. Nosotros callejeamos un poquito en dirección de Kleines Cafe. Ese cafe se encuentra en una pequeña plaza y es escena de la película, donde los dos protagonistas estaban sentados y una adivina se acerca para leer la mano de ella y contarle lo que podría ocurrir en su futuro. Sacamos un rapido selfie y de vuelta a caminar, pasamos por calles pequeñas, regresando en dirección de la Catedral y de ahí llegamos a ver el Anker Clock, un reloj dell'Art Nouveau, ahora una de la principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad que no representa el tiempo de ma...

Lanzarote, mi isla bonita!!

Lanzarote is one of the islands of Macaronesia and with the seven other islands forms the Canary Islands situated close to Africa in the open Atlantic ocean. Lanzarote is a volcanic and arid island, with a peculiar nature: there aren’t big trees and you won’t find tropical vegetation, even if the island itself is considered to be a tropical island. Driving through it you can see vulcans that sometimes look of different colours and shapes. Because of its particularity it is so easy to find peace and relax. As well it offers different trails and tracks to explore and discover the little hidden places this island has to offer.
